Kathmandu: The World Health Organization (WHO), South-East Asia has unveiled an app to get rid of tobacco addiction.

The WHO has launched an app called ‘Quit Tobacco App’ to help tobacco users get rid of their addiction.

The app was launched as part of the WHO’s one-year ‘Commit to Quit’ campaign for tobacco control.

The main purpose of the app is to inform tobacco users about the effects it can have and to help them manage their addiction and focus on quitting.

According to the WHO, the app can be downloaded from both Playstore and Appstore.
