Kathmandu- Mega Bank Nepal Limited has partnered with MOCO Digital Wallet to act as a common hub for cards of various banks and financial institutions with the objective of further strengthening and refining the digital banking facility.

With this partnership, Mega Bank account holders will now be able to use MOCO Digital Wallet by loading their debit or credit cards directly into MOCO digital Wallet without any deposit, without any charge. With Moco Digital Wallet, users will be able to easily pay and transfer money by simply loading the card of any bank and financial institution in their wallet and scanning the QR code.

Anupama Khunjeli, CEO of Mega Bank, said that this facility will make it easier for the customers to make payments and remittances as they do not have to reload the inventory for each transaction. According to CEO Khunjeli, customers of Mega Bank Nepal Limited will now be able to avail the latest services of MOCO Digital Wallet. He expressed happiness over being able to provide the latest services to the customers by collaborating with MOCO.

It is a completely different type of wallet designed with comfort and safety in mind. As the app also complies with the latest protocol of Payment Card Industry Security Standard (PCI DSS), the app has a secure back-end system, said Biswa Singh, Digital and e-Banking Head, Mega Bank.

According to him, MOCO Digital Wallet users will also be able to take advantage of Unified QR Payments. Through this facility, MOCO Digital Wallet users and Mega Bank card users will be able to make payments through various digital platforms such as Alipay, Nepal Pay, Union Pay and Visa with the help of scan and pay process.

MOCO users can use the most rewarding points for each transaction. The MOCO app can be easily downloaded from Google Play Store and App Store, said Mega Bank.
