Kathmandu- Neighboring India has provided five workshop trucks to Nepal through grants.

The truck was handed over to the Nepal Army by the Indian Army during a program held at Jangi Adda on Thursday as agreed by India at the 13th meeting of the Nepal-India Bilateral Consultative Group held in Kathmandu on Mangsir 28, 2075  BS (December 14 2018).

Indian Army Colonel Amit Sharma handed over the grant to Rathi Krishnadev Bhatt, Acting Assistant Director, Directorate of Arms and Controlled Equipment Management.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Bhatta expressed confidence that this kind of co-operation would further strengthen and deepen the military ties between the two countries and play an important role in enhancing the operational capacity of the Nepal Army.
