Kathmandu- An international friendly concert has been organized by Nepal-India.

On Sunday, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center and the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu organized a ‘Nepal-India International Friendship Concert’ in collaboration with DAV Sushil Kedia Viswa-Bharati School Culture India.

The program was inaugurated by Mahantha Thakur, a politician and president of the Samajabadi Party Nepal. Singer Ranjana Jha, dancer Yamini Sharma and Rijula ​​Mishra, Swajan Raghuvanshi group from Nepal and young students from CBSE schools of India and Nepal presented the cultural exhibition.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Thakur stressed on the important role of young artists and students in promoting and preserving the common cultural heritage of India and Nepal and the centuries-old ties between the two friendly neighbors. Similarly, First Press, Information and Culture Secretary Navin Kumar thanked the artists of India and Nepal for their enjoyable performances and contribution in uniting the people of the two countries through their art.

The event was part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of India’s independence.
