Kathmandu: The 15th edition of the Nepal-India joint training ‘Surya Kiran’ has come to an end.

The training held in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand ended on Saturday after 14 days of rigorous training.

The training, which began on September 21, focused on how to respond to terrorist attacks and disaster relief. Similarly, the participating army was also given an opportunity to promote professional and social ties.

The training was concluded by a joint exercise by the armies of both sides demonstrating their warlike and dominance over the terrorist group during the verification exercise. The closing ceremony showcased the unique reciprocal touches and great talents of both the nations, while senior officials expressed their satisfaction with the performance.

Both sides are confident that the bilateral relations and goodwill established during the training will strengthen the armed forces of the two nations in the future.
