Kathmandu- Neighboring India has agreed to provide Rs. 42 billion to Nepal. Under the Nepal-India cooperation, India is going to provide assistance to Nepal in the form of a grant.

According to the Indian embassy, ​​an agreement has been reached to rebuild 14 cultural heritage projects and 103 health projects in Nepal damaged due to the 2072 BS earthquake.

For this, an agreement has been reached between the Embassy of India and the Central Project Implementation Unit of the National Reconstruction Authority. The two sides signed the agreement in the presence of Karun Wanshal, First Secretary, Development Partnership and Reconstruction Division and Shyam Kishore Singh, Project Director, Central Project Implementation Unit (Building).

Under the grant, 14 cultural heritage projects in Lalitpur, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Dhading districts and 103 health projects in Lalitpur, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchok, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Gulmi, Gorkha and Kavre districts are being reconstructed.

The event was attended by officials of the Embassy of India, Central Project Implementation Unit (Building) and representatives of INTACH and CBRI, Project Consultants of the Government of India.
