According to mythology, there is a ritual belief that, Lord Krishna was born to triumph over untruth and to protect the whole human race from injustice, oppression and demonic tendencies. That is why the day of birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated as ‘Krishnashtami’ birth anniversary.
