Kathmandu- The Government of India has provided an oxygen plant to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

The oxygen plant was handed over to Nepal Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha by Indian Ambassador to Vinay Mohan Kwatra.

On the occasion, Minister of State for Health Shrestha appreciated India’s continued support to Nepal in the fight against corona virus infection. Stating that Shrestha said, …covid-19 can be controlled only if all are united.’  Also he added  that Nepal is making all possible efforts to prevent and control the epidemic. He informed that the government is bringing vaccines to all the target communities.

Similarly, Indian Ambassador Kwatra said that India has provided continuous support to Nepal in the fight against corona virus infection. The oxygen plant provided by India can provide oxygen to 200 patients daily at a time. The BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences has been set up with the support of the Government of India.
