Kathmandu- The Embassy of India has shown keen  in the potential opportunities to be seen here while operating the project in Nepal.

Expressing interest in the opportunities available while operating the project in Nepal, the embassy had issued a virtual meeting with major Indian companies on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Deputy Chief of Mission Namagya Khampa said that Nepal is a key ally in advancing India’s goal of an integrated South Asian region. Nepal’s infrastructure sector has a big role to play. .

Similarly, Joint Secretary Keshav Kumar Sharma urged the Indian companies to participate in the business sector in Nepal and informed about the quantity, scope and nature of bids in the infrastructure sector. He encouraged participants to expand their relationships with local partners who are appropriate to the project’s criteria.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport of the Government of Nepal were also present at the interaction, which was organized with the objective of attracting Indian infrastructure companies to Nepal’s growing infrastructure sector and sharing technology, skills and knowledge with Nepal’s partners.

In the last few years, Indian infrastructure companies have been able to develop major projects inside and outside India and create a distinct identity for quality construction, timely construction and price competition.
