Kathmandu- The Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic has resulted in thousands of deaths in the nation and has upended daily life for millions of people across the country.
In the wake of growing COVID-19 pandemic, an initiative was launched with an intention to deliver freshly prepared, nutritious and delicious wholesome meals to the frontline workers, healthcare workers, security personnel and even patients and families suffering from COVID-19 along with people in need of food reliefs. This is a challenging time for many people right now.
As COVID-19 plagues the world, it is important that we all remain connected as a community, and for the frontline workers to know that we value their selfless service in such a critical time.
Food for life Nepal has always been about a promise to provide nutritious meals to the school going children and now with this program, — we are continuing to fulfill our promise to support those most in need of help, those who are serving us selflessly.
We are serving 500 cooked nutritious meals every day in different parts of Kathmandu ensuring all the required safety standards of Covid-19. Our wholesome meal costs only NPR 80. With our capacity to cater up to 1,500 meals per day, we request everyone to be a part of this campaign to reach out those most in need of help. The rising food insecurity has led people to face severe issues of hunger and malnutrition and in support of those affected individuals, families, communities and social service organizations, Food for Life Nepal team has also been distributing dry ration simultaneously.
The motive of this campaign is solely dedicated to encourage the people in these times of hardship. Food for Life Nepal just acts as a diligent implementing arm for the nation.
In the alarming situation, the country is going through, Food for Life Nepal team would like to sincerely request everyone to support in their capacity to make a difference and save lives of people which we can and is in our hands.
