Kathmandu: Bharatanatyam dance has been performed in the area of ​​Pashupati temple on the occasion of Mahashivratri.

On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the Embassy of India, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Kathmandu, performed Bharatanatyam dance on the sacred bank of the Bagmati River in front of the Pashupatinath Temple on Thursday evening.

Renowned Nepali artists Sulochana Gopali and Sojan Raghuvanshi performed the sacred Bharatanatyam dances of India with their group. In the performance after Pashupatinath Sandhya Aarti, they performed dances including Shiva Tandava, Natesh Kauthubham.
