Kathmandu, Feb 16: Nepal and Bangladesh are holding ministerial level dialogues focusing connectivity, energy and trade promotion. The Foreign Ministry has put in agenda the issues as energy, trade promotion, transit, connectivity, tourism, investment, regional and multilateral cooperation. A Nepali delegation led by Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali is leaving for Dhaka on Monday morning at the invitation of his Bangladeshi counterpart. The team comprises officials from Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, and Ministry of Energy, Hydropower and Irrigation. According to Foreign Secretary Shankardas Bairagi, energy trade, cooperation and partnership are the major agenda of discussion. As he said, the talks will be useful as it will provide a venue for sharing achieved expertise and experiences of Bangladesh in the extension of regional connectivity and transport expansion.
