Former member of Parliament Gambhir Jung Karki passed away this morning. He was 76. Ex-president of the Nepali Congress in Palpa district, Karki was suffering from kidney related ailments. He died in course of treatment at the Grande Hospital in Kathmandu, according to NC Palpa Secretary Jhapindra Gaire. Born in Rambha rural municipality-5, Karki was elected to the House of Representatives in the 2048 general elections from Palpa constituency no. 2.
