Myagdi, Nov 4 – A total of 500 people benefited from the integrated mobile camp held at the remote Gurja region in ward no. 1 of Dhawalagiri rural municipality on Saturday.
The two-day camp was organized by the District Administration Office in coordination with the municipality and the ward office targeting the Gurja residents who are deprived of public services due to geographical remoteness and poverty.
On the occasion, 500 people acquired various services including development of land ownership certificate, citizenship certificate, survey of land, health treatment and differently able identity card, according to ward chair Jhak Bahadur Chantyal. A total of 86 people acquired their citizenship certificates while 150 had their land survey verified, Chief District Officer Liladhar Adhikari said. Changing of land ownership and sharing of parental property and amendment services were also provided.
A medical team led by doctor Birat Sharma from Beni hospital examined the health of 150 persons and also provided them medicines free of cost.
The Women and Children Office distributed disability identity card to nine people with disabilities. (RSS)
