Kathmandu – Samjhana Das, who was seriously injured in an acid attack incident, died while undergoing treatment at 11.30 last night.
Das breathed her last while being treated at Kirtipur Hospital.

Samjhana Das and Susmita Das, daughters of Jadav Lal Das hailing from Chandrapur municipality-6, Rautahat, were attacked with acid on September 11 evening.
Rambabu Paswan, a local, aged around 50, had allegedly thrown acid to the Das sisters in the night while the latter were asleep at their home citing refusal of his love proposal.

The acid had burnt almost all body parts, including face of Samjhana. Her sister Sushmita, however, is out of danger.
Police have already arrested Paswan for his involvement in acid attack. (RSS)
