Bhimduttanagar – Chairperson of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Harihar Adhikari (Shyamal), has stressed the need of overall change to develop RSS as a trustworthy media as well as to give new life to it.
Inspecting the RSS Province 7 office at Bhimduttanagar of Kanchanpur today, Chairperson Shyamal said that support of all was necessary for RSS reform.
After the inspection, the RSS Chair held discussion with media persons of Kanchanpur and urged them to support in RSS’ transformation.
He further said that RSS subscribers should show their honesty. Chairperson Shyamal said, “I have taken initiatives to control unauthorised use of RSS news. RSS is in poor shape due to instability in the country in past. Now it should be made more dynamic.”
Similarly, Province chief of Kantipur Daily Chitranga Thapa wished Chairperson Shyamal for his successful term.
He said, “RSS is the school of journalism. Give a new dimension to RSS.” Thapa also expressed concern over political influence in media.
RSS Province Deputy-Coordinator Prakash Silwal, among others had participated in the discussion. (RSS)
