Rajbiraj – A man was killed when a tractor being used for ploughing a paddy field overturned at Chinnamasta Rular Municipality in Saptari district today.
The deceased was Janak Mehata, 26, from the same place. Mehata was working in the paddy field when the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 3659) suddenly overturned and crushed him to death, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhavesh Rimal.
Critically injured in the incident, Mehata was rushed to Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sangarmatha Zonal Hospital where he breathed his last during the treatment, police said. (RSS)
