Birgunj, July 26 : Bara police has arrested three persons in connection to their involvement in the kidnapping a child some two months ago and murdering him.
Police arrested Ram Prabesh Shah of Ranighat in Birgunj Metropolitan City-24 in Bara district, Parbati Devi Giri from the same locality and Suraj Giri currently living at Betiya in India.
They allegedly abducted nine-year-old Ankit Shah, son of Lalan Prasad Shah of Simara Sub-Metropolitan City on June 5 and later killed the minor.
The kidnappers killed the child even after receiving Rs 6.45 million ransoms from kid’s parents. The kidnapped child was found buried near the Gandak canal of western Parsa on July 19.
Police are searching for others involved in the crime, said police.
