Dhankuta, July 23: Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet has said that the Medical Education Bill will be presented in the Parliament for discussion.
Speaking at a programme organized by the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Dhankuta committee on the occasion of 40th Pushpa Lal memoroial day here today, Minister Basnet, also the leader of the CPN, said that the bill was in limbo after opposition Nepali Congress used Dr Govinda KC to delay the process, for being terrified by the good deeds of the government.
He added that the bill will be endorsed by the parliament for the holistic reforms in health and education sectors.
On another note, Minister Basnet asked Nepali Congress, as a responsible opposition, to participate in the discussions in the parliament.
