Hetauda –  As many as 20 people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident this afternoon at Lebat along the Hetauda-Narayangadh road section in Makwanpur.

Of the injured, 11 have been admitted to the Chure Hill Hospital while five others being treated at the Hetauda Hospital, the District Police Office, Makwanpur said. Four have been already returned home. The bus (Na 5 Kha 3701) en route to Birgunj from Narayangadh overturned on the roadside after the driver apparently lost control over it. Driver Kush Thapa Magar, 35, of Chandranigapur of Rautahat who was unhurt in the accident is under the police control for further investigations.

Meanwhile, traffic along the Hetauda-Bhaise road section of Tribhuvan Highway was resumed after the rubble left by a dry landslide occurred at Bagjhora in the wee hours today was removed. The traffic resumed from 10:00 am, Chief District Officer, Chakra Bahadur Budha said.  (RSS)
