Parbat– A man was killed after being swept away by a swollen river at Gangate of Kushma municipality on Tuesday evening. The victim is 60-year-old Maniram BK of Kushma Municipality-1. He was swept away by the local Jahare stream while crossing it, police said.
It is said BK had consumed alcohol at that time and was returning home after working in the fields. His body was found 100 metres downstream. Although there is a suspension bridge near the place, BK did not use it. The body has been brought to the Parbat District hospital for a post-mortem. RSS
