Chitwan, July 2: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section, which was obstructed since 8 am today after a big rock fell on the road at a place called Charkilo has come into operation after 12 hours.
The two-way traffic along the road resumed at 7:50 this evening after the clearance of the obstructions. Hundreds of vehicles have left for their destination as the vehicular movement resumed, chief of District Traffic Police Office, Chitwan, Inspector Bed Prasad Gautam said.
The mudslides that occurred at Charkilo, Jalbire and Topeykhola along the road section at 5.10 am on Monday also led to obstruction of vehicular movement. But the road was opened for one-way traffic after the mudslide debris was cleared off from the road.
