Jhapa– Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Baskota has said Nepal would see agriculture revolution within five years with farmers being self sufficient.
Minister Baskota said this at a rice plantation programme organized by Kamal rural municipality, Jhapa at Kerakha on the occasion of National Paddy Day today.
The state is ever ready to cooperate with farmers, Minister Baskota said, adding, “Jhapa is a fertile land for the production of agriculture inputs. The state is ready to finance farmers to boost agriculture production here”.
Without agriculture revolution Nepal would not see economic prosperity, he said, pledging state readiness to support farmers by all means. RSS
