Chitwan– Educational institutions that were closed for the past two days following a protest by All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), a student wing of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party Nepal have opened today.

Issuing a press release on Monday night, ANNFSU (Revolutionary) District Secretary Darpan confirmed to the withdrawal of their protest.

The ANNISU (Revolutionary) had called indefinite educational strike to protest the arrest of its District Chairman Ramesh Lamichhane and member Saroj Bhattarai by police.

The press release reads, “The indefinite educational strike was pulled out in view of request of different organisations and bodies concerned to open schools.  RSS
