Jhapa– A motorcyclist died in a road accident at Kamal rural municipality-4in Jhapa district along east-west highway today.
The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained yet. According to the District Traffic Police Office, the accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 7509) heading towards west from east hit the motorcycle (Ko 9 Pa 8956).
Two pillion riders—Umesh Khadka and Amar Limbu of Kamal rural municipality were injured in the accident.
Police Inspector Rajesh Rai said that the injured have been sent to Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital for treatment. Police have impounded the bus. RSS
