Increasing heat in Kailali and Kanchanpur, districts in province 7, has adversely affected normal life. Children, aged and working class people have been additionally affected by the adverse weather condition.

The number of patients visiting health facilities with complaints of breathing difficulties, fever, headache, and nausea and vomiting has significantly increased.

People are forced to stay indoors to avoid hotter days and some have started going for outing up to Budhitola of Chure hill and Khani hill, relatively cooler areas, to avoid the unbearable heat.
