Chitwan– A youth, who came to offer worship to Manakamana Temple, died after being drowned in a swimming pool of Siddhartha Hotel at Kurintar in Chitwan.
Ram Bahadur Basnet, 26, of Tarakeswor municipality-11, Nepaltar of Kathmandu district drowned to death while swimming in the pool, confirmed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Chitwan, Shiva Sharma.
Basnet went unconscious after he drowned in the swimming pool while taking bath at around 9.00 last night. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the College of Medical Science Teaching Hospital in Bharatpur at around 11.00 pm.
He had gone for swimming in the pool with his family members. RSS
