Panchthar, May 21(RSS): Sixteen boarder pillars are found disappeared from the Nepal-India border in eastern hilly district Panchthar, part of province 1. During a recent study, it was found that 16 pillars,out of 103, have gone missing from the border. Likewise, four points where pillars were erected remain invisible.

The District Police Office, Panchthar said a team from the office recently returned from the site following field observation to this end. However, nine Junge (masonry) pillars erected on the border area are found in the existing situation. But, two of them are in a dilapidated condition and in need of renovation and one is at high risk of being hit by a landslide.
