Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor, who is all set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja on May 8, has revealed that they have one unwritten rule that they will both follow.

Talking to reporters recently, Sonam revealed she has mutually agreed upon certain rules with her husband-to-be.

“It’s a rule basically Anand has put on both of us. Right before I sleep I have to put my phone on charging in the bathroom or I charge it in the hall of other room,” Sonam said in an interaction with Firstpost. So, Sonam, who is quite a frequent social media user, will have refrain from using her phone when going to bed. Now, that’s a healthy practice! She also suggested every couple should follow the rule.

After almost a month of speculation and gossip, Sonam and Anand confirmed their wedding date last week. The wedding will be preceded by a mehendi function on May 7 and a reception will be held on May 8 evening in Mumbai. The functions will be held at Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra Bandstand and The Leela hotel.

Sonam will be heading to Cannes after her wedding. Sonam and Anand, reportedly, won’t have time for honeymoon before October. A Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source as saying, “Anand won’t be at Cannes with her but the couple is planning an October-November honeymoon which will be delayed because of the bride-to-be’s choc-a-block schedule.”

Sonam’s stylist and fashion designer Pernia Qureshi was the one who got Anand and Sonam together for the first time. Anand reportedly proposed to Sonam within a month of their first meeting.

While they dated, neither spoke publicly about being in a relationship. Their Instagram posts, however, spoke volumes about their admiration for each other and pretty much convinced everyone that they are in love.
